This is a portfolio part of the blog a record of my time studying on my degree but especially my Final Major Project. My blog is a source of primary research, development and progression in my final brief.
My Final Major Project is based around the principle of furthering my current knowledge of the role and working of illustration with in the creative industry. the main aim of my FMP is to produce a body of illustrative work in response to my environmental, social and cultural experiences, observations and commissioned works.

Visual Communication 3rd Year

This illustrations is still in production and is far from finish (my opinion). I have wanted to to a number of pieces based around the female form. Not in trashy low grade way but using my skills to produce beauty within the illustration. Not smut, porn or filth. More the body beautiful than erotica or pervasion. Well if you keep any eye on here you'll see where i'm going with this.

Visual Communication end of Year Show catalogue

Final Catalogue work up.
Like these 3, not sure which most. This is a selection of what i did and there really isn't enough space here to show them all. I toyed with various design ideas but plumped for a collage of my work to give the audience an overall feel of my work and style. At the time of having to inform Lawrence Brown (editor of the catalogue) of what i need on my page i was unsure of what i was going to show. As as i write this i still dont, not till i know where my display area is in the exhibition. In the mean time i'll leave this as its at its end. Please post any input at the bottom.

Visual Communication 3rd Year

Rave (2008) - Photographic piece inspired by a night in.

Weyyyyyy all hail the night in. Brilliant times to be had on your own. its what my summer and christmasess are all about. As i work in a pub when i go back to help out with the bills. Its an ok job but with the new liecences establishments are open later then ever before so that means the staff stay even later. So we workers have to battle the night busses. Trust me getting from London EC1 to IG8 is not a simple matter. The streets are a jungle. But even when you do sruggle home you to kbacked to eat and because its so late your toally on your own as everyone else with the common sense, are tucked up safe and sound.

Visual Communication 3rd Year

photo montage

This part of my FMP was soley intended to re-establish a self interest in my work, i had become distanced and disillustioned. I had lost sense of the position i was in (4 months from the end) and i was taking far too much way too seriously. I was stifled and had O% confidence in any work i managed to complete.
